Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SideLoadR Android application provided by CompileDaddy (“CompileDaddy,” “we,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using SideLoadR, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Your use of SideLoadR signifies that you have read, understood, and consented to these Terms as well as any additional policies referenced herein. We may revise the Terms occasionally; continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
2. Service Description
SideLoadR is an APK sideloading assistant that enables you to browse locally stored APKs, inspect metadata, route files to external scanning services such as VirusTotal, and manage installations. The app is intended for lawful sideloading activities performed on devices you own or have permission to administer.
3. User Responsibilities
- Ensure you have the legal right to install or distribute any APK you load through SideLoadR.
- Maintain the security of your device and the confidentiality of your files.
- Comply with export, import, and intellectual property laws applicable to the software you sideload.
- Provide accurate information when interacting with third-party scanners and respect their usage terms.
4. Legality of Sideloaded Apps
SideLoadR does not validate whether an APK is authorized for distribution, free of intellectual property restrictions, or legal in your jurisdiction. You bear full responsibility for confirming that any software you sideload is lawful and properly licensed.
5. No Warranty
SideLoadR is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompileDaddy and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or relating to your use of SideLoadR. Our total cumulative liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to obtain the app.
7. Third-Party Services
SideLoadR can connect to VirusTotal or other external APIs at your request. Those services are operated by third parties with their own terms and privacy practices. CompileDaddy is not responsible for third-party content, outages, or data handling and makes no guarantees about their responses or accuracy.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to SideLoadR at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts located in Idaho for any dispute arising from these Terms or SideLoadR.
